Product Description

MONEL K-500 alloy has the same corrosion resistance as 400, but has higher mechanical strength and hardness. It has good heat corrosion resistance and long-term structural stability. It is mainly used to manufacture turbine blades and gas turbine blades with working temperatures below 750℃ on aircraft engines; used to manufacture fasteners and springs on ships; pumps and valve parts on chemical equipment; scraper blades on papermaking equipment, etc.

Non-magnetic in nature, the Monel K500 round bar must be annealed before being welded followed by then stress relieving before being aged. Due to its high tensile strength properties and low corrosion rates in high velocity seawater, the Monel K500 Rod is well suited to be used in the marine industry along with the oil and gas production as well.
