654smo Uns S32654 6mo Austenitic Stainless Steel Round Rod

654SMo, also called S32654 or 1.4652, is a super austenitic stainless steel containing 23% nickel, 25% chromium and 7% molybdenum.Its corrosion resistance is comparable to that of the best nickel-based alloy. As the nitrogen content of 654SMo is twice as high as 254SMo , its intensity is higher than 904L and 254SMo. There are two smelting method for 654SMo super austenitic stainless steel: 1) the currently popular argon-oxygen decarburization refining smelting in abroad -VOD or AOD; 2) continuous casting method used for producing stainless steel.
