Product Description

Stainless steel 310S is an austenitic heat resistant alloy with excellent resistance to oxidation under mildly cyclic conditionsthrough 2000°F. Grade 310S is a lower carbon version, less prone to embrittlement and sensitisation in service. The highchromium and medium nickel content make these steels capable for applications in reducing sulphur atmospheres containing H2S. They are widely used in moderately carburising atmospheres, as encountered in petrochemical environments. For more severe carburising atmospheres other heat resisting alloys should be selected. Grade 310 is not recommended for frequent liquid quenching as it suffers from thermal shock. The grade is often used in cryogenic applications, due to its toughness and low magnetic permeability.

Socket Welding cross is a high-pressure four-way pipe connection fitting mainly formed by forging blanks from round steel or steel ingots by die-casting and then processed by lathe. Socket-and-spigot cross consists of a spigot, a bell, a bent part, a bell slot, etc. It is characterized in that there is a bell slot on the spigot, and the spigot and bell are respectively located at both ends of the bent part. According to the shape, it can be divided into equal-diameter cross and reducing-diameter cross. In the piping system, the socket-and-spigot cross is a pipe fitting that changes the direction of the pipeline.
