Alloy 20 is a nickel-iron-chromium based, austenitic alloy with excellent corrosion resistance in chemical environments containing sulfuric acid and many other aggressive media. This alloy is stabilized with niobium to resist intergranular corrosion. Alloy 20 may provide potential cost savings when carefully compared to higher nickel-based alloys, while out performing standard stainless steels. Blind flange is a connection form of flange. It's basically a flange without a hole in the middle. One of its functions is to block the end of the pipeline, and the other is to facilitate the removal of debris in the pipeline during maintenance. In terms of sealing effect, it has the same effect as the head and the tube cap. However, there is no way to disassemble the head, and the flange blind plate is fixed with bolts, which is very convenient to disassemble.
