Product Description

Monel 400 alloy (UNS N04400 or MCu-28-1.5-1.8 or Ni68Cu28Fe) is a nickel-based alloy material with good corrosion resistance in seawater, chemical solvents, ammonia sulfur chloride, hydrogen chloride, various acidic media such as sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, organic acid, alkaline media, salt and molten salt. Monel 400 alloy also has good mechanical properties, from low temperature to high temperature wide range of use temperature, with good welding performance and medium and high strength.

Threaded flange refers to a flange that is connected to the pipeline by threads. When designing, it can be treated as a loose flange. The advantage is that welding is not required, and the additional torque generated on the cylinder or pipeline when the flange is deformed is very small. The disadvantage is that the flange is thick and the cost is high. It is suitable for the connection of high-pressure pipelines. Threaded flange is a non-welded flange in which the inner hole of the flange is processed into pipe threads and connected with a threaded pipe. Compared with flat welding flanges or butt welding flanges, threaded flanges are easy to install and maintain, and can be used on some pipelines where welding is not allowed on site. Alloy steel flanges have sufficient strength, but are not easy to weld, or have poor welding performance, so threaded flanges can also be selected.
