Additionally, ASTM B366 UNS N04400 shows great resistance to hydrofluoric and hydrochloric acid. These Alloy 400 Fittings exhibit good flexibility and durability even under harsh conditions. Monel 400 Pipe Fittings is a strong alloy that can bear heavy loads and working stress. The pressure that is involved in making this material is very high, and hence it is highly strong and tensile. It has well co-efficient for fatigue resistance. Continuous exposure to harmful acids and compounds does not make it get abraded or eroded. It has strong resistance to crevice corrosion,crevice pitting and surface deformation. It is made using a solid solution, which is it is given heat treatment and annealed instantly.
