Product Description

B-2 alloy is a solid solution strengthened nickel-molybdenum alloy commonly used in extreme reduction conditions. Compared to the previous alloy B (UNS N10001), alloy B-2 significantly reduces the content of carbon, silicon and iron. Compared with B alloy, B-2 alloy is less prone to corrosion in the welding zone in the welding state. Controlling other alloying elements, such as iron and chromium, solves potential problems with molding and forming. The strict chemical control of B-2 alloy during the production process makes it used in the welded state and less susceptible to stress corrosion cracking under many conditions. Weld Neck Flanges is a kind of flange with a cone neck and butt welded with the cylinder or pipeline. Due to the transition structure of the cone neck and butt welded connection, the strength and stiffness of the flange are strengthened, and the sealing is better than that of the flat welded flange. It is suitable for occasions where the pressure and temperature are high or the sealing requirements are high.
