Product Description

B-2 alloy is a solid solution strengthened nickel-molybdenum alloy commonly used in extreme reduction conditions. Compared to the previous alloy B (UNS N10001), alloy B-2 significantly reduces the content of carbon, silicon and iron. Compared with B alloy, B-2 alloy is less prone to corrosion in the welding zone in the welding state. Controlling other alloying elements, such as iron and chromium, solves potential problems with molding and forming. The strict chemical control of B-2 alloy during the production process makes it used in the welded state and less susceptible to stress corrosion cracking under many conditions. Socket welding flange refers to the pipe end inserted into the flange ring ladder, welded in the pipe end and the outer flange. There are two types with and without a neck. The rigidity of the flange with the neck tube is good, the welding deformation is small, the sealing is good, and can be used for the pressure of 1.0~10.0MPa. The Type B flange for the container is also a socket welding flange, which is used for occasions with high sealing requirements. During the design, the socket welding flange can be checked according to the integral flange.
