Product Description

HASTELLOY C-4 alloy (UNS N06455) is the most (microstructurally) stable of the widely used nickel-chromium-molybdenum materials,which are well known for their resistance to many aggressive chemicals, in particular hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, and chlorides. This stability means that the alloy can be welded without fear of sensitization, i.e. the nucleation and growth of deleterious, second phase precipitates in the grain boundaries of the weld heat-affected zone (HAZ).Like other nickel alloys, it is ductile, easy to form and weld, and possesses exceptional resistance to stress corrosion cracking in chloride-bearing solutions (a form of degradation to which the austenitic stainless steels are prone). With its high chromium and molybdenum contents, it is able to withstand both oxidizing and non-oxidizing acids, and is resistant to pitting and crevice attack in the presence of chlorides and other halides.

The Butt Welding Olet is a reinforced pipe fitting used for branch pipe connection that has been widely used abroad in recent years. It replaces the traditional branch pipe connection types such as reducing tees, reinforcement plates, and reinforced pipe sections. It has outstanding advantages such as safety and reliability, reduced cost, simple construction, improved medium flow, series standardization, and convenient design and selection. It is increasingly widely used in high-pressure, high-temperature, large-diameter, and thick-walled pipelines, replacing the traditional branch pipe connection method. The main body of the branch seat is made of high-quality forgings, and the materials used are the same as the pipeline materials, including carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, etc. The branch pipe and the main pipe are welded. The connection between the branch seat and the branch or other pipes (such as short pipes, threaded plugs, etc.), instruments, and valves includes butt welding, socket welding, and threaded. There are six types of branch seats: butt-welded branch seats, socket branch seats, threaded branch seats, short-tube branch seats, miter branch seats, and elbow branch seats.
