Product Description

HASTELLOY C-4 alloy (UNS N06455) is the most (microstructurally) stable of the widely used nickel-chromium-molybdenum materials,which are well known for their resistance to many aggressive chemicals, in particular hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, and chlorides. This stability means that the alloy can be welded without fear of sensitization, i.e. the nucleation and growth of deleterious, second phase precipitates in the grain boundaries of the weld heat-affected zone (HAZ).Like other nickel alloys, it is ductile, easy to form and weld, and possesses exceptional resistance to stress corrosion cracking in chloride-bearing solutions (a form of degradation to which the austenitic stainless steels are prone). With its high chromium and molybdenum contents, it is able to withstand both oxidizing and non-oxidizing acids, and is resistant to pitting and crevice attack in the presence of chlorides and other halides.

The socket couping is a pipe connector machined after forging round steel or steel ingot. Its connection form is socket welding (Socket Welding-SW). The steel pipe is inserted into the socket hole for welding. Therefore, it is called "socket pipe clamp". The main manufacturing standards are ANSI/ASME B16.11 and GB/T 14383-2008. The varieties of socket pipe clamps include double socket pipe clamps and single socket pipe clamps. Among them, the double socket pipe clamps are divided into equal diameter and different diameter, and the different diameter double socket pipe clamps are also divided into concentric and eccentric. Socket pipe clamps can be widely used in pipes of different diameters, including single-way, three-way, four-way, etc., and can also be used for water meters and valves. Due to the use of the socket structure, the pipe joint reduces the cost, is extremely convenient to install, use and maintain, and has a very high leak-proof ability, and has great market prospects.
